Pilates

This Pilates class is suitable for all levels. We will work with a system of exercises and movements based around the classic thirty-four exercises focusing on precision and control. The aim is to increase strength, flexibility, and balance.

In the class we will work with breath and movement and our body mechanics to increase awareness whilst using all of the muscles of the body as they were designed.

A Pilates class typically begins with a warm-up sequence preparing the body for the movements ahead. We will work through a series of controlled and precise movements. Each exercise works to engage and strengthen specific muscle groups while focusing on proper alignment and controlled breathing. Pilates exercises can range from gentle, low-impact movements to more challenging, high-intensity movements depending on the level and intensity of the class. End of the class will finish with a relaxation to allow our bodies to cool down.

Meet Molly, she is a fully certified Pilates instructor having worked with Nuffield Health for several years teaching classes of mixed ability. She also works closely with 1-2-1 clients specialising in pre and post-natal and loves seeing her client progression over time.

Molly is always continuing her training and on the lookout for new and fresh ideas to bring to her pilates classes offering different challenges for her members.

Before finding her passion for Pilates, Molly worked as a professional actress. Outside of the studio she loves her strength training in the gym and is working towards her first half iron-man distance triathlon.
